Stephen and Kathryn are on holiday from tomorrow, Monday 29th June until Monday 27th July. During this time, we have a neighbouring minister covering for us.
If you are ill or in hospital, would like some pastoral help or require the services of the covering minister, please contact Brian (07711595998) or Carolyn (07716600671)
Over the months of July and August there will only be one announcement sheet to cover July, and one to cover August. This is because there is less to go on the sheet at this time of the year, and also to give those involved in producing and copying the sheet each week a bit of a break.
Weekly announcement sheets with the order of service will return in September. If you have an announcement for the July sheet, please give it to Carolyn by this Thursday.
Our preacher next week will be Mr Simon Harbinson.
Additional Announcements
Please note that our morning service will be at 11:30am during the months of July and August, preceded with a prayer time at 11am. This will begin next Sunday.
Bible reading notes are available for collection from the coffee dock.
Holiday Bible Club leaflets are available from the coffee dock and the vestibule. Please take some for children you know, or those who live around you. Online booking is now open. Also, please pray much for the Holiday Bible Club over the next month. The team would really value this.
From the Youth Leaders…”On behalf of everyone at the youth fellowship weekend, we would like to say a big thank you to our church family for praying for us and supplying us with delicious treats. It was a great weekend and we thank you for your support”.
If any young people are involved in outreach teams during the summer months; CSSM, camps, mission teams etc, please give the details to Carolyn, so that we can arrange some prayer support and financial help.
If anyone would be willing to be added to the tea rota for Sunday morning tea or Sunday evening tea, please give your name to Carolyn. Thank you.
Outside Announcements
Keswick at Portstewart is taking place from 4th – 10th July. Speakers this year are: Mark Meynell (Morning Bible teaching), Jonathan Thomas and Clive Bowsher (Evening celebrations)
The next walk with the Kells and Connor Strollers and Striders will be this Thursday, 2nd July. If you would like to be a part of the group, please contact Lorraine Craig from the community association on 07761840128, and she will add you to the whatsapp group.
